The 3rd Party
Tonight’s PlayStation 2013 event in New York City had many things. We saw upcoming titles, demos showcasing the power of what the PS4 will allow them to do, and above all many of the top developers taking the stage just tell us how great this new PlayStation 4 really is. Unfortunately, the one thing it lacked was a PlayStation. We now know the images of the controller leaked weeks ago seem to have been right on the money sporting about the same build as we saw tonight.

Future “Game Of The Year”
As I said before, a few games did make a appearance. Bungie showed off “Destiny” but at this point they’re showing that off to anyone who even stops at a stop light anymore. Blizzard announced that Diablo 3 would be making it’s way to both the PS4 and PS3. ”Infamous: Second Son” and a new “Killzone” also spent some time on the big screen but in my opinion the real star of the show was “Watch Dogs”. I am telling you, this is the 2nd show that I have seen where ”Watch Dogs ” just blew everyone out the water. You know it’s bad when a game over shadows your console at it’s own event.
How can you have a event like this and show everything but the console itself? The only thing I can think of is that they must be saving it for E3 later this year and if that was going to be the case maybe the event should have been named “Yo, you wanna see pretty videos of things that are not video games and only made so you can see what our games will look like?”.
I will not be attending the next Y.Y.W.S.P.V.O.T.T.A.N.V.G.A.O.M.S.Y.C.S.W.O.G.W.L.L.
